Meta Finis: Hues

Human senses are subject to physical limits. If one's ears are overstimulated by loud music with heavy bass content, one's ears will lose their abillity to hear higher frequencies. Analogously, if babies are exposed to color saturated toys above their cribs, they will loose the ability to distinguish color hues in later life. So we are condemned to a hueless society.

The Pyrrhonist opines that affluent societies, as the industrial societies of the West, have had their senses overstimulated and analogously are less able to distinguish hues or hear the whole audio spectrum.

And so we live in an either or, two alternatives world. Democracy has been reduced to an either/or mentality of left or right. The electorate is almost equally divided. So too the Supreme Court. All subtlety has been lost. Winners and losers only. Lions or Christians. Gain fame and they will think you right. Be a loser and be demonized.

All has been reduced to entertainment, to distraction from the loss of sense. The sign of a society in decline for whom the forbidden apple of winner or loser, us or them, victim or victimizer for all leads to death.

In case you never realized it, life is an incurable disease. Sexually transmitted. Very few ever really overcome the consequences of the then and there of their being given life.
